Frequently asked questions
Do I need Shopify?
No. Shelfetti works with any store - or no store platform at all. You share a hosted waitlist link from your product page, social posts, or email. There is no official Shopify integration and none is claimed.
Can I use Shelfetti with my existing store?
Yes. Create a product, publish a waitlist, and paste the link (or the optional embed snippet) wherever your customers already are. No storefront credentials are required.
Can customers unsubscribe?
Yes. Every restock notification includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribes take effect immediately, are logged, and are never automatically reversed.
Can I track different variants?
Yes. Signups can be collected per variant - size, color, scent, style, or package type - and the dashboard reports demand by variant separately, never silently combined.
Does Shelfetti automatically detect inventory?
No. You mark a product as restocked when it is available again. Shelfetti never claims to read your storefront inventory.
Can I export my waitlist?
Yes. Authorized store members can export a CSV with product, variant, email, signup date, consent status, consent timestamp, and source tag. Unsubscribed and suppressed contacts are clearly labeled in the export.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time from the billing portal once billing is active for your account. Your waitlist data remains exportable before cancellation takes effect.
